Hello I’m Sara ‘Newborn Doula’
I specialise in supporting families with newborn babies in the comfort of your home.
I qualified with Nurturing Birth in 2019. I am fully insured, have an enhanced DBS check, and hold a pediactric first aid certificate.
From supporting first time parents prepare for and settle into life with a newborn, to helping support expanding families with additional children, my role is to make the transition easier and smoother for everyone.
Every family set up is different which is why my support will always be personal to you; postnatal doulas can help in so many ways but the main focus is to leave you feeling a little more rested and supported at a time you need it most.

A Postnatal Doula is a professional trained to support you in those early days when things can be especially overwhelming, offering practical assistance, emotional guidance, and expert advice, ensuring a smoother transition into parenthood.
When do I book a Postnatal Doula?
You can book a Postnatal Doula at any time; when you know your due date you can start getting in touch with a few doulas to decide who is the best match for you, then book as soon as possible to secure their services for when you will need them.
How much is a Postnatal Doula?
The cost of hiring a Postnatal Doula can vary depending on location, experience, and the specific services offered, my services start from £31 per hour.
